What it is
The GK+ is a Bluetooth finger-prick meter that tests blood ketones and blood glucose, each on its own strip. It is FDA cleared (510(k) K192957) and syncs with the free MyMojoHealth app, which can work out a glucose-ketone index from the two numbers (Keto-Mojo).

Limitations
- Each reading needs a finger-prick and a strip, so you only see the moments you test.
- Strips are the running cost: testing more often costs more (try the calculator).
- Blood meters in general lose precision at very high ketone levels, above about 5 mmol/L (Dhatariya, 2017).
